Adam Clayton

With a deep, instantly identifiable tone; an instinctive grasp of rhythm and space;  phrasing fueled by dub, soul, and reggae influences- he expresses more in three cyclic notes than many of his peers whose fingers fly up and down the neck of their instrument. Yet he is probably the least recognized of his profession given his band's level of commercial and artistic success.

Adam Clayton's short list of massive grooves includes: "New Year's Day," "Last Night on Earth," "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight," "Unforgettable Fire," "If God Would Send His Angels, "Get on Your Boots," "4th of July," "11 O'clock Tick Tock," "With or Without You," "Bullet for Blue Sky," "Mysterious Ways," "Until the End of the World," "Kite," "Elevation," "Some Days Are Better Than Others," "Staring at the Sun," "Desire," "Bad," "Miss Sarajevo," "Gone," and "Please," to cite a select few.
