Phoebe Snow / It Looks Like Snow

With Reggie McBride (Tommy Bolin’s Private Eyes, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner) on electric, and Chuck Domanico (Stan Kenton, Carmen McRae) on upright, the late, great Phoebe Snow waxed a gem of a slab that traversed jazz, funk, pop, gospel, and rhythm and blues – which was evocative of the amazing year in music that was 1976.

Both players support the singer and her songs with pocket grooves and riveting harmonies.  Among the session heavies include Ray Parker Jr., David Bromberg, and Harvey Mason.
