Scott Edwards

When Michael Henderson spilt from the employment of the former Stevland Hardaway Morris to work with electric Miles, a young Atlanta cat by the name of Scott Edwards took over the bass chair and thus began a stellar career as a first call sideman -session player.

A James Jamerson disciple, Scott’s exemplary body of work spans Glenn Campbell (Rhinestone Cowboy), Boz Scaggs, Stanley Turrentine, Hall & Oates, Bee Gees, Gloria Jones, Harry Nilsson, Alphonse Mouzon, and Aretha Franklin to cite very, very select few.
