Felix Pappalardi

One of rock music’s forgotten giants, the late Felix A. Pappalardi waxed history aplenty as a producer (Cream, The Youngbloods, among many others) and as a bassist (Mountain).

A classically trained, accomplished multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger Felix’s fat Gibson EB tone defined the sound of a generation. Pappalardi was also an in-demand session cat for much of the 1960s, appearing on seminal sides by Tom Paxton, John Sebastian, and Jesse Colin Young, among others.
