Lonnie Mack

A pioneer of the electric guitar in popular music and inspiration to Duane Allman, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Dicky Betts, among scores of others, the former Lonnie McIntosh’s career as a recording artist and session ace spanned blues, rock, country, and gospel. Lonnie also cut two bass tracks on The Doors’ Morrison Hotel platter– “Roadhouse Blues,” and “Maggie M’Gill.”
