George Harrison / Living in the Material World

Klaus Voorman’s absolute mastery of song, to my ears, flourishes best on this '73 slab from George.

Klaus flawlessly gravitates from the pocket (“Living in the Material World”) to melodic foil (“Give Me Love, Give Me Peace on Earth”) to rhythmic catalyst (Don’t Let Me Wait Too Long,” “Sue Me Sue You Blues,” "Try Some Buy Some") and then some.

With his  signature warm Fender tone and deft command of rhythm and space, I can’t think of any bass track Klaus has recorded throughout his laudable career which wasn’t flawless.
