Faces / Overture Coast to Coast

When the irreplaceable Ronnie Lane split the Faces to create the beloved (and still rollicking) Slim Chance, the remaining lads: Mac, Woody, Jones, and new bassist Tetsu Yamauchi essentially devolved into Sir Roderick's housekeepers.

Regardless, they persevered as a reckless rocking force to be reckoned with on stage as evidenced by this raucous concert slab, which was wrongly slagged upon release.  Given Stewart’s platinum hair and multi-platinum record sales, this was the arena filling version of the band that most Yanks, myself included, actually witnessed!

Kudos to the terminally tipsy Tetsu for respectfully quoting Plonk’s signature motifs.
