Peter Cetera

Though he is recognized more for his award winning, chart-topping, platinum selling vocal and songwriting prowess (Grammy Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), Peter Cetera was a versatile bassist as the founding member and anchor of that “rock and roll band with horns” otherwise known as Chicago, especially in their early years.

Peter is a terrific song player who incorporates strong rhythm & blues influences along with bouncy melodic motifs ala Sir Paul.

Go figure why he surrenders the bass chair to various studio players (Willie Weeks, Guy Pratt, among others) on his solo sides which have also sold in the millions.
